
Impromptu supper! It is prepared in a lidded ceramic bowl, called guveche and served individualy.
2 tomato slices
1/2 -inch slice feta cheese 1 tbs butter
3-4 red bell pepper slices 2-3 jalapeno paper slices 4-5 cured sausage slices 1-2 eggs
Serves 1
Heat the oven to 450° F. Layer the ingredients in the listed order, except the eggs. Cook for 20-30 minutes. Crack the eggs on top of each guveche, season lightly with salt and paprika. Cover with a lid or aluminum foil and cook for three minutes.
The eggs should be shyly veiled and almost set – not runny, but not too stiff.
