Sour cherry liquor
2 lb sour cherries
1 1/2 liter cognac or brandy
1 lb sugar
Clean and pit the cherries.
Crush and mash them with pestle. Add the cognac and the sugar.
Let the mixture stay in an air tight container for IO days and remember to stir from time to time.
Press the fruits and drain the liquor.
