
1 lb fish, white or a combination of different kinds
fish head adds a lot of flavor
1 small onion, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
2 potatoes, cubed
1 bay leaf
3-4 whole allspice berries
3 tbs olive oil
In soup bowl, boil the vegetables with oil and spices until almost done, season with salt and pepper. Place the fish in cheesecloth and cook with the vegetables until soft. Remove the cheesecloth with the fish, clean all the fish bones and return fish to the soup, adjust the seasonings. Serve with vinegar.
